US-based safety hose specialist LifeGuard Technologies (LifeGuard) has established a new sales/service centre based in Madrid, Spain, called LifeGuard Technologies – Southern Europe.

The expansion is part of a company-wide initiative to grow its business over the past 12 months and includes the appointment of two new additions to the sales team. 

Experienced in mechanical engineering and business development, Miguel Smurawski takes on the role of Business Development Executive while strategic business development specialist Alberto Castro will become the new Key Account Manager. 

“We are keen to build on our success and see the sales and marketing team as key to this,” commented Andy Abrams, Executive Vice President, LifeGuard. 

“Our customers continually tell us that it is our personal touch that makes us stand out and adding to the team will make us even more accessible to them.” 

The new hires will be based in Southern Europe and will provide technical services to clients in the region, in addition to working on sales strategy.
